Elena Arcos Pecoraro

Elena Arcos Pecoraro’s skills and qualifications go far beyond her almost 20 years of experience as a practicing attorney.  Having litigated over 350 civil cases, her courtroom success towers above her peers.  Elena is a graduate of the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University.   She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from LSU.  Her combination of law and engineering degrees provides her with a unique understanding that face many of her industrial and business clients including railroad, helicopter and marine vessel companies.

Elena is the former chairwoman for the International Trade and Development Group for Lafayette, Louisiana, as well as an international business owner.  She has extensive experience  working abroad to facilitate new business opportunities.  As an immigrant from Chile who spent considerable time living abroad in Central America and Europe before gaining her U.S. citizenship as a teen, she knows the difficulties that families face to make a better life for themselves here in the U.S.  She also understands the challenges faced by business and Government entities traversing U.S.  Immigration laws.  This experience  further focuses the efforts of her immigration work.
